Item Description
From the same set as #1071. Card front reads "Crespo, Marianao B.B.C." Bold, strong image. Alejandro Rogelio Crespo was a Cuban baseball second baseman who played in the Negro Leagues. He played professionally from 1918 to 1933 with several teams including the Cuban Stars (East), Cuban Stars of Havana, Gilkerson's Union Giants, and the Chicago Giants. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1962. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
