3.5x3.5" softcover BLB-style book by Whitman. ©1934. Front cover features Mickey, back cover text reads "Merry Christmas To You From Santa Claus At Macy's." In this book Mickey and Minnie travel to New York City on a passenger plane. Their adventure includes a tour of New York which ends at Macy's where they are turned into balloons for the parade. In the end they meet Santa in the toy department. 1934 was the first appearance of Disney balloons in a Macy's parade and was heavily promoted by them including the use of this book as a premium. Contents are aged w/minor corner foxing. Front cover has aged and has some handling wear w/.5" crease at lower right corner and color rubs along spine. Back cover has had one 1" corner piece reattached w/archival tape on inside. Still a tight copy and about Good. As noted in Overstreet, this ranks #2 on the top 20 BLB and related books list.
