Item Description
The first Mickey Mouse movie theatre-sponsored club began January 11, 1930 at Fox Dome Theatre in Ocean Park, Calif. Their first 7/8" club button had an unauthorized image of Mickey which was quickly replaced by a studio authorized design as appears on this button. Beneath Mickey's feet is the text "Copy. 1928-1930 By W.E. Disney." We believe this button was issued in the latter months of 1930. It is complete with its Phila. Badge Co. paper. A beautiful glossy example NM displaying Mint. Scarce.
