Item Description
7.5" long tin litho friction car comes in box nicely illustrated on all sides. 1950s. Box has .5" tear to one end flap w/neat glue repair but box remains bright and clean. VF. Car depicts Donald Duck as the driver w/passengers including one of his nephews, Mickey Mouse and Goofy. Doors feature images of "Bambi" and "Thumper." Roof has a simulated television set w/clear plastic cover over the screen that features an image of Mickey and Donald. While the friction mechanism works, sparks are no longer produced (missing flint) so the "screen" does not light up as intended. Car remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Scarce, especially w/box.
