Item Description
Each is 1.25” and three have matching backpaper from “Ann St. Badge & Novelty Co. New York.” One backpaper is blank. Pictured in order are “President Jefferson Davis.” “Miss Winnie Davis.” “Gen. Gordon.” “Gen. Stonewall Jackson.” All are real photo buttons without dot patterns. These were used as memento’s of Confederate veteran reunion events in the early 1900s. Gordon was an early member of the Klan becoming the first Grand Dragon for the Realm of Tennessee. Later he was a member of the House of Representatives. Buttons are all Exc. and display Mint.
