Item Description
Ten stickpins measure between 1.5” and 2.75” tall. The pair of hatpins have enamel designs on long brass pins 8” tall. The pennant has tiny loss of enamel from the tips but the one showing “Old Church” is Mint. Two of the smaller stickpins have beautiful enamel scenes which are perfect. Two others are in silvered brass and two more in brass. In addition there are four straight pins holding paper pennants and these are serially numbered. Reed mentions in his book that perhaps this is a set of twelve. These carry numbers 2,3,5 & 7. They include the company name and promote products of the McCormick Company of Baltimore. They are titled “Jamestown Souvenir Banner Rainbow Series.” The second has a loose pin and very tiny tear near the top left but this could be easily repaired with glue dot. The fourth has a 5/8” vertical split. All display cleanly. Many pieces we’ve not seen before.
