Item Description
Buttons are .75" to 3". The three calendar cards are 3.5" tall. First card is celluloid while the other two have thin cello lamination. The cello card has 1930 calendar on reverse while the other two have calendars on reverse for 1943 and 1949. While some of the button designs are identical, the imprints on them are all different. Of the 37 buttons 28 include an image of Santa. Earliest pieces are in row one and these date from about 1913 with additional Santa's spanning the decades into the 1980s. Litho buttons are items three and four in row one and the first four items of row two. In addition the three "Santa's Helpers Club" buttons are litho. A couple of the earlier litho's have tiny trace of paint wear but nothing very noticeable. All the celluloid buttons display bright and clean with just the slightest fading on the "Esso 1940" button. Numerous seldom seen designs with vast majority displaying Mint.
