Item Description
The Los Angeles International Air Meet was among the earliest air shows in the world held as stated on this button "Jan. 10-20, 1910 Los Angeles, Cal." The event was held in Los Angeles County at Dominguez Field with a turn out over the eleven days of 254 thousand people. The Los Angeles Times called it "One Of The Greatest Public Events In The History Of The West." On the button beneath the title "Aviation Week" is a primitive airplane while below is an airship overlapped by a hot air balloon. Reverse has fixed horizontal pin plus paper of maker Hoegee Co. NM and displays Mint. Rare.
