Item Description
Lot of four 8.5" to 11.75" long wind-up tin litho body tractors w/tin litho hubs, pliable rubber treads and tin litho farmer/construntion worker figures. 1940s-1950s. Toys are very detailed including exposed engines on three and three have built-in keys. Larger tractor is scarcer six-wheel version and is chain-driven w/replacement key. All work but are missing front dozer blades. Each has hook for implement attachment on backs. One (green) has plastic exhaust stack attachment beside on/off switch on top, others do not have stacks as produced and have on/off switches by drivers' feet. Sparking tractor (green) has flint holder, but does not spark as flint needs replaced. Comes w/aged instruction sheet w/archival tape repairs to reverse. Scattered pinpoint paint nicks/scratches, Fine/VF overall. Nice grouping of Marx tractors showing some of the many varieties of this toy that they produced.
