Item Description
This classic 1930s toy of Pluto pulling Mickey who is seated in a cart came in a variety of styles/sizes. This is smaller 4" long version w/pair of celluloid figures and tin cart w/built-in key. Mickey holds string reins. Comes in box w/illustrated label on the lid. Made in Japan for the English market and sold under the brand name "Paradise Novelty Co." Box has scattered wear, w/ crease and lid has 7/8" split and box has 2.25" neat glue repair to split. Label has scattered insect damage at edges, but this mainly affects white margin only and rest of label remains bright. VG. Toy shows only slightest trace of aging and has professional repair to crack on one of Pluto's legs where is joins his body and is only visible upon close inspection. Toy works and still displays Exc. Rare w/box. From the Robin Hamilton Collection.
