Item Description
Made by Northwestern Products Company St. Louis. 10.5x15x2" deep box has art image on lid of boy and girl using toy plane to drop bombs on target. Consists of wood and cardboard plane with wire sight lever and four wooden darts designed like bombs. Lid has text "You Actually Load The Bomb Racks! Spot The Military Objective! Aim The Bomb Sight! Release The Bombs!" Lid has some dust soil with bit of wear around edges. Fine. Slight oxidation on bomb release and sight wires, otherwise contents are VF/Exc. and show little use as placed in die-cut box insert as issued. Comes w/ photocopy of scoring instruction sheet. 16x19x.5" thick fiberboard target has colorful applied label showing numerous factory sites and buildings marked w/plus or minus numbers used for scoring which have been bombed by planes flying above. Unused with no punctures. Trace of lt. wear around edges, lower left corner has moderate wear, cardboard corner piece holders are a bit worn w/oxidation on staples but target itself is VF/VF. Impressive concept and nice design.
