Item Description
Illustrated box contains 6" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. 1950s. ©KFS. Nicely illustrated lid features Popeye on top skating by Olive Oyl. Two side panels show Popeye, Olive and Swee'Pea all skating by Poopdeck Pappy. The plain box bottom is dented on sides and has 1" corner tear but no splits. Lid has scattered aging and corner tip wear. Good/VG. Toy depicts Popeye wearing roller skates and in pose holding a plate w/can of spinach up into the air. Complete w/metal rod stem and wooden bowl pipe. Synthetic fabric pants shows typical aging/lt. fading. Scattered tiny paint nicks, but still bright and glossy. Toy works and he skates about while changing direction every so often. Fine. Classic Linemar Popeye toy.
