Item Description
1-5/16” white metal. Hake #3027 and DeWitt/Sullivan 1864-2. Front has his portrait and name plus slogan “Free Speech, Free Press.” Reverse has scene of six soldiers surrounding American flag on a staff plus the text “Fremont and Cochrane.” Some flattening of the raised details on each side and front has about 18 very tiny indents marks in the metal but they are not very deep or large and detract little from the appearance. Quite scarce and overall VG. Also see Fremont/McKinley celluloid button #201.
