Item Description
Lot of 33 pieces, each w/choice color illustration of both men, flags of each country and Statue of Liberty above world globe. Most pieces w/"Alfred Meakin - Marigold - Astoria Shape - England" mark, though cups just say "Made In England." Group consists of five 6" dia. saucers, four 7" dia. bowls w/a few chips (mostly under top rims), 6.5" dia. plate, 7" dia. plate, 8" dia. plate, pair of 9" dia. plates (round), four 8.5" square plates (tiny stain to one corner), four 2.75" tall curved side cups w/handles (one w/hairline), three 3" tall tapered cups w/handles, pair of 4" tall straight side tapered cups w/o handles, 4.25" tall open sugar bowl, 3.25" tall curved sides pitcher w/handle and 4" tall straight side pitcher w/handle. Just three of the 33 pieces have any damage (as noted), rest are NM-Mint overall. Extensive World War II group.
