Item Description
10.75x12x3" deep white metal w/bright gold color plating. Inserted clock is a vintage replacement. Induction motor works, although a bit noisy, and clock runs. However, the knob to set the hands is missing from the back and clock back has four small openings for screws and knobs that no longer serve a purpose. Two screws remain to keep all intact and a shaft extends to start the motor. Panel on back reads "Gibraltar Electric Clock Co., Inc. Jersey City, #115 Pat Pend. Model 155." Full figure farmer holds a sheaf of wheat while full figure worker w/sledgehammer and gear rolls up his sleeves. Figures flank three tall smokestacks belching plumes of smoke. All symbolic of the road to recovery and prosperity. Displays NM.
