Item Description
Nice hand-tinted colors w/eagle at top above "Union" and below slogan "One Country, One Constitution, One Destiny." Bottom ribbon design reads "The Democrats Choice For President And Vice President From 1857 To 1861." Margins are lightly tanned w/six small areas of paper restoration. 3.5" tear center right that crosses Breckeinridge's face but professional repair shows very little. Entire image area remains very clean and retains wonderful coloration. VG overall, but will mat to an Exc. appearance. Hake #3001 w/2004 Guide value of $900.
