Item Description
16x20.5" refinished 19th Century frame w/added wood on reverse to bring it to a thickness of 1.5". Glass and a mat frame the print w/"Z. Taylor" and "M. Fillmore" under their portraits. Bottom margin covered by the mat but most of Kellogg's name and address is visible. There are two near pinholes from insects on Taylor's hair, a 1/16x.25" hole on upper left flag and good bit of surface paper off the globe and flag stripes below the eagle plus lesser loss on flag at right. Some even tan tone lower left of Taylor image. In spite of defects, the print retains gorgeous with strong hand-applied color and still displays very attractively.
