Item Description
c. late 1940s-early 1950s. 22.75x23.75” wood frame has cardboard sign w/wonderful photo of famed Dodgers and Giants manager in casual clothes w/text “Put A Smile In Your Smoking ! …Like Leo Durocher”. Stadium in background. Bottom shows regular and king size cigarette packs w/text “Chesterfield Best For You”. Sign has corner creasing, narrow 2” color rub in upper text at right. Overall just Good, but remains bright and glossy. Durocher, nicknamed “Leo The Lip”, coined the phrase “Nice Guys Finish Last”. As framed still looks nice. Ready for display.
