Item Description
14x16.25x45" tall wire rack for DC Comics. c. early 1940s. Rack has seven slots designed to hold comic books, each slot has 2x4-1/8" tin litho attachment w/DC Comics comic book titles - "Action Comics, Detective Comics, Adventure Comics, Superman, Flash Comics, All-American Comics" and "World's Finest Or All Flash Quarterly" names. Back of each attachment has text "Made By Central Wire Frame Co. Inc. New York N.Y." Wire rack has some wear and traces of oxidation but VG overall. The best and rarest comic book rack we've ever seen or offered and a must-have display piece for the comic book collector that would be a real showstopper if period comics were added for display.
