Item Description
See previous item #2453. Offered here is Brontosaurus, the biggest dinosaur toy produced for the entire line. 1989. Originally designed to be a battery-operated toy that walked, came w/more accessories and an additional figure, budget constraints decreed this not feasible. This in no way detracts from the overall impressiveness of the toy, and it comes w/figures of Serena, Ayce and Ion as well as "Full Battle Accessories" that consisted of armor and weapons that could be placed on the dinosaur, effectively turning it into a walking battle station. Toy also comes w/three Rhamphorhynchus pterosaurs figures. This toy was the highlight of the second series of toys. Toy comes sealed in its original 14.75x35x8.75" deep box. Box has some corner tip wear w/a few creases. VF w/contents Mint as sealed. From the personal collection of Lee Volpe, Tyco Toy’s Manager, Director, and VP of New Product Development (1982–1994) who was involved from the beginning of the development of Dino-Riders, Garfield telephones and several other Tyco toys.
