Item Description
c. 1941. 9.75x10” gold accent wood frame has double archival mat with 3x3.25”die-cut cardboard shield badge relief mounted in center. Badge has classic early image of Superman breaking chest chains. Text reads “ New Different Superman Bread Tasty-Nourishing.” Badge has piece on back allowing it to be worn by store clerks and managers. NM as professionally framed and matted in colors which match the badge. One of only five known, this is the actual example shown in Hake’s Pop Culture Guide. An incredible promotional piece.
