Item Description
9" dia. lantern lays flat but expands open to a height of 16”. Interior base has metal holder for a candle while the top edge has a thin wire handle. Interior has very minor pair of 1” long hairline tears flanking candle holder’s base in the cardboard lantern bottom that only shows from underside. Top cardboard rim has pair of small 1/8x1/8" pieces off the edge. The upper left of one side has 2x4" somewhat crushed paper area of two of the accordion folds when opened. Two .5" paper splits. In lower areas there are two small .25" holes and one .75" fold split. Overall, the lantern remains extremely clean and from most viewpoints remains Mint as made. A smaller, 7" dia. version offered in Auction #201 exceeded $600.
