"Book Of Knowledge" bank from series cast from originals but made in 1950s-early 1960s. 2.25x9.5x6.25" tall overall nicely detailed including figure of batter, catcher, and pitcher on ornate base which has two baseballs and crossed bats on front lattice work design. Original banks were marked Darktown, most of which had black player figures. The name has been changed from Darktown to Home Town on this version. Comes with printed COA noting original bank is in the collection of the Book of Knowledge and that this is an authentic reproduction of the original antique made in the same process. COA is wrinkled with some dust soil. VG. Comes in original box which is heavily worn and just comes along. Bank itself is Mint in original packaging and easily removable for display. High quality.
