Contains 88 pages loaded with great ads and Indy 500 related content for race which began in 1911 with this one being won by George Souders. Inside front cover has "New
Departure Quality Ball Bearings" ad with photo of "Harry Hartz 1926 Speedway King" showing him in car and racing, graphic ads include: Boyce Moto-Meter, Bendix Brakes, Hartford shock absorbers, Budweiser beer, Perfect Circle piston rings, Ethyl gasoline, Chrysler centerfold and much more. Drivers shown include Eddie Rickenbacker, eight previous winners between 1912 and 1926, and drivers for this race including George Souders, Steven Smith, Sam Swank, Ralph DePalma, George Fernic and others. Also include photos of race cars, and many statistics along with photo of the "Strauss Trophy". Page titles include "
Times And Averages, Behind The Scenes, All Around The Track, From The Air". Covers have some lt. dust soil and have pulled totally loose from both staples. Some lt. handling creases and edge wear but cover VG. Entry page list has several names crossed out in pencil, contents otherwise VF. Scarce. Lots of detailed information.
