Item Description
c. 1960s. 8x14.5x15” tall cardboard box. Top of box has straw-like material to represent a nest. Sitting on nest is 11” wide by 24” long by 14” tall vinyl goose. Front of goose has push button. When display is plugged in, push button activates noise maker that represents a goose honking. Works. Box area holds a 4” dia. cardboard tube that rests diagonally inside the box. An opening at the top of the back allows someone (salesman likely) to drop “A Free Golden Egg Full Of Surprises” down the tube and to the opening at the front of the display. Box shows scattered lt. wear. Light color loss on box edges. Box Fine. Vinyl goose Exc. Lot comes with six 3” long two-piece plastic eggs. Each egg reads “Half The Fun Of Having Feet/For Boys And Girls” and has the “Red Goose Shoes” logo on top. Each egg is slotted for coins to be used as a bank. Bottom flat area of egg reads “Red Goose Golden Egg T.M.” Five of the six eggs still hold premium contents (toys, candy, etc.). Eggs are VF. Overall an interesting display. Fine.
