Item Description
Matching pair, each 10.5" tall exceptionally well made fully jointed hand-painted wood dolls reminiscent of those made by Schoenhut and Ideal. Superb detailing, Horace has separate horse collar w/fabric bow tie and bristle tail, Clarabelle has metal cow bell around neck. Keith is known for his one-of-a-kind wooden Disney and other folk art creations (see Flip the Frog #580). Underside of one foot on each has hand-inked text "Walt Disney's Horace Horsecollar #2/Clarabelle #2 By Keith Kaonis 1981." Superb and early Keith Kaonis creations.
