11.75x14.5x1.75" deep window display box contains complete target game which consists of 8" long spring-loaded, double-barrel painted tin dart gun, four rubber-tipped safety darts and four die-cut single-sided cardboard targets, depicting The Riddler, Joker, Penguin and an unknown mustachioed villain. Produced solely for the Japanese market by Tada. 1966. Box lid features specialty art of both Batman and Robin as well as Batman's name in Japanese w/batsymbols. Left side of lid has 2.75" tear that separates cardboard from original cellophane window, which is loose along top but o/w intact. Lid also has some color rubs and creasing to edges. VG. Box bottom holds cardboard insert w/batsymbol sticker and die-cut slots to hold darts and plastic cup base targets. Scattered aging/wear. Fine. Gun has some aging/tarnish to bullet chamber area but works and is Fine/VF. Rest is Exc. Rare and first we've offered in our 47 years. Great design.
