Item Description
2.75" tall item c.1937 is very large and very impressive with a highly embossed brass shield on the front depicting huge spread winged eagle above large shield with high relief Tracy portrait plus text "Dick Tracy Detective Club." Many traces of original luster. Riveted to the reverse is a leather pouch to hold change or other special objects. Pouch has leather closure flap with a brass snap that displays as it should but the unseen underside brass closure snap has pulled off its small brass anchor pin. The pouch also has 2" length on right side where the stitching came free. A great piece in spite of the wear. A very early issue that seems to pre-date Quaker cereals radio sponsorship in 1938. VG.
