See previous item #1037. 3.5x4.5” card includes printed text “Official Pass Hauptmann Trial Flemington, N.J. Friday, January 11, 1935” along w/unused boxes to check off for “Witness, Press, Photographer, Bar”. Issued by John H. Curtiss Sheriff of Hunterdon County. Original owner has written her name and address in pencil “Mrs. George B. Good Ottsville, Pa.” Lt. aging w/faint moisture mark at lower right margin edge. Faint surface paper crease to touch, not visible. Fine. Extremely limited distribution. This was considered “The Trial Of The Century”. The same day of this trial pass noted aviatrix Amelia Earhart began her successful flight to become the first person to fly from Hawaii to the mainland.
