Item Description
6-7/8x10” Vol.1 #1 Winter 1938 w/128 pages. Published by Fiction House. Saunders front cover has great action scene w/Ki-Gor in loin cloth leaping from jungle vine w/knife to protect pretty aviatrix from panther. Contents include art by Earl Mayan, “The Red Trail To Zanzibar” story by Hugh B. Cave. Fiction House also published comic books. Issue has nice large ad for “Jumbo Comics” #4. Cover has pencil mark at center which blends well. Bit of cover edge wear w/pages lightly but evenly tanned and supple. Fine overall. Ki-Gor would continue in the next 58 issues, ending in 1954.
