Item Description
Original release 27x40" one-sheet poster for the 1943 Columbia Pictures 15-chapter serial starring Tom Tyler as The Phantom. Based on Lee Falk's comic strip "The Phantom," the serial also starred Jeanne Bates as the Phantom's girlfriend Diana Palmer, and Ace the Wonder Dog as the Phantom's trusty companion Devil. All three are pictured at top, w/near full body image of The Phantom firing gun and yelling. This is for Chapter 4 "The Seat Of Judgement" and features inset image from the serial, w/Devil being petted by The Phantom in his secret identity of Geoffrey Prescott. Poster has been folded and shows wear along fold lines and at fold line intersections. Margins have a few .25" to .5" tears and two 1" tears. If framed, would display Fine w/strong color.
