Item Description
17" tall to tips of fully extended ears. Built-in key on back. Fabric ribbon stitched to shirt serves as belt and visible text reads "Oswald - Copyrighted Universal Pictures Corp. - An Irwin Pr," indicating Irwin as maker. c. 1931. Velveteen face while rest of fabric-covered body is cloth/felt. Leatherette shoes w/strings. Inner body has cardboard covering around wind-up mechanism. Toy works and when wound, rocks back and forth as it slowly moves forward. Face shows even age toning. Slight fade to orange areas of ears. Outfit has some lt. aging. Sides of face have neatly inked child's name and "June 10, 1932" date. Still a structurally sound and Fine example. Rare.
