Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains die-cast 5.25" long Batmobile No. 267 and comes w/pop-up display platform and is complete w/all accessories, paperwork and both original cardboard inserts. ©1966 NPP, Inc., this is an early issue from 1967, revised to include tow hook. This is the variety w/glossy black body rather than matte finish and has gold hubs w/red bat emblems and wide black rubber tires and silver tow hook which appears to have never been plated gold and is likely a factory error. Complete w/tiny thin plastic antenna and three-dimensional figures of Batman and Robin. Designed w/working "Triple Rocket Tubes, Chain Slasher Blade, Turbine Jet Exhaust." Box has trace of wear but is o/w Exc. Box insert shows wear where Batmobile's wheels rest and is Exc. Comes w/sealed envelope containing instructions, unused fabric "Batman Owner Badge" sticker and 12 small projectiles and separate small sheet listing features. Contents are Mint as sealed. Batmobile has tiny nick on inside fin but as produced and o/w has an unused appearance. NM/Mint w/original cardboard inserts still present. Old store stock, as nice as these come.
