22x28" cardboard Globe poster for Dec. 10-11, 1948 spook shows at the Squire Cinema in Reisterstown, MD. Show was headlined by Ray-Mond the illusionist, who had one of the most successful spook shows to tour the country. His show was continually on the road from 1946 through 1950 and performed all over the country. This poster features spooky photo of Ray-Mond as well as images of tombstone and gorilla w/women in its arms. Promotional text reads "Show Of 1001 Horrors - Monsters Run Loose In The Audience! - On Stage..The Monster-Maker Ray-Mond And His Blood Curdling Voodoo Show - Ghosts And Ghouls Sit Next To You In The Audience." Especially entertaining is the line "Makes Frankenstein Look Like A Sissy!!" Poster goes on to state "Plus Giant Horror Screen Show." Poster has moderate wear w/moisture staining across marquee area and lower right corner has heavy dust soiling. VG as is but would frame for a nice display.
