Item Description
5x7" paper work order for chauffeur service to transport The Beatles from the Elstree ATV Studios in Hertfordshire, England to Grosvenor House (a prestigious hotel) in London, England for a charity performance for the "Star's Organisation (sic) For Spastics" that took place Dec. 2, 1963. That day was a very busy one for The Beatles, rehearsing for and taping a television appearance on the "Morecambe And Wise" show hosted by comedians Eric Morecambe and Eric Wise during the day and this benefit concert later that night. Work order slip has been neatly filled out in black ink and mounted to thin cardboard. Order has been signed in black ink by all four Beatles - John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and Paul McCartney, who adds "Beatles." These signatures were obtained by the limousine driver the night he drove them. Order also shows the start and finish time of the run, as well as beginning and ending mileage. Ringo and John's signatures are a bit light, but still legible. Work order has some scattered age toning from adhesive used to mount slip. Fine overall. Comes with Hake's COA and LOA from Frank Caiazzo, noted Beatles autograph expert. An impressive signed Beatles item from start of Beatlemania.
