Item Description
7.5x8" storybook w/12 pages (not counting cardstock covers and record sleeve) and sleeve containing translucent blue flexi-disc record w/batsymbol. Published solely for the Japanese market by Shonengahosha. ©1961 NPP, though clearly release c. 1966 given the depiction of TV's Batman and Robin on cover. Interior pages have specialty art w/nice two-page spread featuring Batmobile. Storybook portion shows moderate handling wear w/pinch creases to spine and creasing at corners. Fine overall, record shows lt. trace of wear and is VF. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
