Item Description
Pair of 14.5x23” thin art boards each have 13.5x19” India ink image area w/total of 15 panels for April 20. Brenda is in eight panels. Storyline has her attending a dinner by her editor given in honor of her safe return and meeting Detective Christopher Trauerts. Logo is hand inked and signed by cartoonist-creator “Dale Messick”. Complete w/two Chicago Tribune copyright stickers. Blank margins have dust soil and editorial notes, image area will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn example done within the first year of the strip's June 30, 1940 debut.
