Item Description
7x11" paper album issued in conjunction w/the equally rare bread label series from 1965 that was ironically issued by "Bond" bread. There are 24 labels in the series and these feature bw photos from four Bond films. Outside of the album is designed as an attache case and has simulated "Secret Trigger" latch and firing bullet. Simulated tag for "Official 007 Jr. Agent" has tiny penciled number but has not been filled out. Text on reverse includes "Secret Agent Motion Picture Games/Contains Exciting Clues" w/list of the four films in this series of labels. Interior has designated blocks for placement of the labels w/titles that match the labels. Bottom flap has illustration of "Bond" holding an exploding loaf of bread that reads "Bursting With Taste." Additional text has rules for two games using the labels. Lt. handling wear w/long hairline crease on back but as printed. Fine. Issued well after the bread label craze of the 1950s, this "Bond On Bond" promotion probably seemed like a winning combination at the time but apparently the promotion did not go over well resulting in its rarity.
First album we have offered in our 46 years.
