Pair of empty boxes issued in 1935 by Novel Package Corp. Smaller is 2x3.75x.75" deep and larger is 3.75x6x1" deep. Both have same basic design which includes front photo of Spanky while group photo on back pictures him with Harold, Alfalfa, Darla, Buckwheat, Scotty, Baby Patsy and Pete. On the larger box the group photo also includes Porky at right. The smaller box has end flap that serves as a coupon and three of these were to be sent in with 10¢ to receive "An Album With Photos Of Our Gang." Larger box flaps do not have this offer. The large box has obvious wear with both flaps loose, one is incomplete. Side panel crease and some insect damage. Just Good. The small box is tight and Exc. Scarce pair, especially the larger box.
