Item Description
Lot of 19 thin artboards measuring 12x17." Near complete story, included are pages numbered 2-20. Original pen and ink art w/numerous screentone accents for comic magazine published by Charlton Comics in Sept., 1976. Story deals w/Steve Austin being sent to Alaska by Oscar Goldman to investigate a "Project Rubber Ball," meeting up w/an Inuit agent, getting in a snowmobile chase and ultimately fighting a pack of wolves. Art is for "The Rubber Ball Project" story by Nicola Cuti. Story was 20 pages, we are missing only the first page. This was the second story in the magazine issue as pages have a second set of consecutive numbers, the actual magazine page numbers. Scattered aging/wear at extreme margins, but art areas display Exc.
