Two stamp albums, each 7.5x10.25" and from a four-volume set. ©1942. Volume 1 has 12 pages while Volumes 2 has 16 pages. Each is designed to hold 50 different full color gummed stamps featuring insignias. Both have complete set of stamps neatly mounted at appropriate spots. Insignia designs include those done by Walt Disney Studios, Walter Lantz, Pat Sullivan, George McManus and other artists. Many Disney characters are featured including Donald Duck, Baby Pegasus, Ben Ali Gator, Jiminy Cricket, Goofy, Pluto, Little Hiawatha, others. Other characters include Felix, Jiggs, and many animal characters. Both albums have imprints on front cover of "The Pittsburgh Press" and come w/matching original mailing envelopes. Envelopes have typed recipient address and show lt. wear from postal issue. Fine overall. Albums have scattered trace of lt. cover wear, but all remain clean and VF/Exc. Stamps are NM/Mint. Great wartime Disney imagery.
