Item Description
c. 1936 for bed building sequence that was deleted from the film. Sheets are each 12.5x15.5” w/approximately 8.5x9.25” lead pencil image area. While both are detailed w/“Snow White” name carved on headboard, first sheet has a bit more loose design including pencil perspective lines. Second sheet is fully finished w/highly detailed design including owls w/cherubs on bed posts and bed frame. Second sheet has pencil text at upper right “Please Return To K. O’Connor Room 205 Unit G”. Ken O’Connor was a Snow White layout artist at the time. Lower left has pencil text “OK Otto”, likely referring to writer Otto Englander. Both sheets have vertical fold in center as stored, Lt. dust soil and minor handling creases. Art is Exc. Great pair to frame together for comparison.
