Item Description
Lead pencil art is attributed to Tom Wood for promotion of cartoon released on June 16, 1934 which was directed by Dave Hand. Each is lead pencil on 9.5x12" sheet of animation paper. First sheet has 4.5x8.25” image w/one nephew dressing up in oversized railroad engineer clothes as the other holds large oil can. Second sheet has image almost filling entire sheet w/Morty and Ferdy happily operating steam-roller. Lt. margin aging, but most of image areas have Exc. appearance. Nephew Ferdy first appeared in the Mickey Mouse comic strip on Sept. 18, 1932 and this short marks his only cartoon appearance. Tight and well drawn.
