Item Description
1.5" scarce 1935 brass badge showing Tarzan coming through jungle foliage towards the viewer and holding a large knife in one hand. Bright brass luster has loss and minor wear although much luster remains and surfaces are clean. About 90% of the blue enamel paint remains on the outer rim edge. About 40% dark red paint remains on Tarzan's outfit. Issued by Milk Dealers & Distributors of Dayton, OH who sponsored radio serial #1, "Tarzan Of The Apes" on station WHIO in Dayton 1936-1937. The licensed badge was produced by Etched Products Corp. Fine.
