Item Description
Issued in 1994 by Disney Art Editions. 37x43” high quality wood frame w/Plexiglas has canvas textured archival mat w/gold inside border. Serigraph has similar multi-character scene as #1941 preliminary original Barks painting, but w/a few subtle differences. Like the final finished painting, serigraph has Peter Pig dancing on hill behind Gyro Gearloose, and has large “$” gold coin design on Uncle Scrooge's Money Bin in Duckburg skyline background. The preliminary painting (item #1941) has no dancing pig and no coin design on background building. Pencil text just below image reads “P.P. 1/50 ‘Surprise Party At Memory Pond’” w/bold 3.5” long “Carl Barks” signature. NM. Ready for display.
