Item Description
First is 3.5x5.5” Carthay Circle Theatre postcard where “Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs Is Being Shown For The First Time In The World”. Front has art w/Snow White singing w/dwarfs. Postally used w/ink note and “Apr 21 1938” postmark, but actually issued for the world premiere Dec. 21, 1937. Next is 6.25x9.25” teacher’s aid “Photoplay Studies” Vol.3 #10 1937 booklet w/20 pages devoted to Snow White. Next are two movie theater promos. 6.75x9-1/8” “Radio City Music Hall” booklet for Jan. 27, 1938 has 16 pages. Includes Snow White cover, inside cover promoting “The Seven Dwarfs Visit Rockefeller Center Skating Pond”, and two pages w/photos of making of film including animators and background artist at work. 5.75x8.25” “Loew’s Weekly” folder for March 10, 1938 w/four pages has Snow White cover article. A few lt. creases, group overall Fine/VF. All are scarce w/limited distribution.
