c. mid 1930s. 5.75x7” sheet has bold India ink drawing of talking cigar and signature. Sheet has barely noticeable horizontal fold above center. Fine. Art is Exc. Elzie Segar (1894-1938) put Popeye in his “Thimble Theatre” comic strip in 1929. Great to frame and display w/your favorite Popeye paper item.
