Item Description
3.5” with cartoon of Uncle Sam leaning and embracing a leaning soldier. Reverse is cardboard with a large metal flange so the piece would slip over a pocket. Back has stamp of Vancouver maker Geo. H. Hewitt Co. This was a “Delegate” badge for event “U.S.W.V. & Auxiliary, 34th Annual Encampment Dept. Of Wash. & Alaska/July 18-20 1935/Remember The Maine/Vancouver, B.C. Canada.” NM displaying Mint and the only example we’ve seen.
