Item Description
Each is 1.25”. Each has W&H backpaper although the earlier one has some surface paper and text missing. This one reads “Bridge Opening Souvenir/Dec. 19th 1903/Compliments Of The Berlin/Broadway’s Big Store.” Text refers to the Williamsburg Bridge opened that day at the cost of over $24 million. Button has light surface wear showing only in reflected light and a pinpoint nick on extreme bottom edge barely showing from the front. Next item reads “Queensboro Bridge Celebration June 12-19, 1909.” Couple pinpoints of age around the reverse collet but front remains NM displaying Mint.
