Item Description
1.25” great color depiction of desert sands with camel rider and pyramids in background against blue sky. Issued for event “Lake Compounce Sept. 14, 1934.” Reverse has W&H paper. Rim has ring through it and suspends a silvered metal clamshell (half only, open on the reverse). Great color and the only time we’ve seen this design or this suspension. NM displaying Mint.
